Love the lamp suggestion and PLEASE centralise the coffee table, my O.C.D is going crazy. Maybe throw in a few copper cushions

Hi. It looks a lovely room. I'm yet to find a lamp hence no picture but I would go go for a really bling table lamp as you don't appear to have a pendant, either in honeycomb/cut glass effect or mercurised glass with a light shade. I agree re the coffee table. I'd add a few more accessories. Add velvet cushions behind the others in a shade darker than the curtains and a beigey sheepskin throw over one arm of the chair. For the coffee table I'd mix the rustic and glam. Perhaps this dandelight from rockett st George under a cloche and then add a metallic tray with a couple of books and maybe a bowl of pine cones or something natural/old

The table looks good there and is a lovely table! I'd try living with the curtains for a few months and then see how you feel. I'd move the hexagon table to the other side of the sofa and rather than bling go for an antler table lamp or similar on that table. If you move the end sofa away from the wall slightly you should be able to go for a swing arm or arc lamp. A swing arm might be good to tie in the shade with the table lamp. I'd add the sheepskin throw on that end sofa instead. You can buy sisal, jute etc plant holders which may work in the rustic a little more if you're committed to that look as I think the room looks much more glam ATM
