Beige or blue bed headboard??
Comments (7)Beige seems a good way to go. However, headboards are easily changed with a piece of material sewn like a big pillow case, then you can change with seasons/mood etc: fuchsia, green, tapestry, silks, all those things that look great in the magazine but you wonder how long you can live with. Also good if you every want to move the room around and you end up with the bed against white instead of blue walls. Comments (5)Ah you are very welcome! Yes it does look like you could center it on that wall then and add shelves. If you can't find vintage ones you could use new wood and paint them to match and add some decorative finishes to it. - 9 years agoIf you're making it from scratch just apply it to the foam. The foam is easily available now and you can also buy it online. The foam has different densities so make sure it's relatively firm. You can also get stockinette to go over it if you want (we never do) and have made 6 of our own headboards. Here's the one in our guest bedroom. We had sufficient fabric left over for some cushions.
