Comments (8)(A) painting an alcove a particular colour that pleases you. (B) Having the Island section a different colour. (C) A decorative blind adds a spark. I am not specifying 'the colour' or 'the fabric design', they are just ideas to assist. Comments (11)Yeah I haven't thought about when the sideboard is in place, with it being white gloss with a silver trim I thought it will still look all the same colour though and still needs something to break it up. I didn't know with being a sliding door and then the patio door whether curtains or blinds would look right on them, I think like you have said I'll see how the area looks when it's a bit more filled with the sideboard and then I can always add curtains/ blinds if needed. i'm glad I've uploaded the other side of the kitchen as I now see it definitely clashes with styles but hadn't thought about it, It's only a small change but I bet it will help to work with the dining room. Thank You very much for all your advice :) A few more ideas for me to go on now, that I hadn't considered....See MoreDesperately need help with kitchen paint colours please

I don't believe you can accurately colour match digitally, paints behave differently in different lighting conditions....See MoreHelp needed choosing a colour to compliment a cashmere kitchen

On the opposite wall we have 3 windows and a double door so this is the largest expanse of wall in the room. I love it and think the two colours look gorgeous together....See MoreVeronika Lavey
