Silver skeleton clock

Hello all, I'm considering hanging this clock above my bed, but am worried that with it being silver it will just blend into the wall. I'm considering painting the wall a darker grey (or white?), or I'm open to wallpapering the wall, or I could perhaps mount the clock on some kind of board? Just putting it out there in case anyone has any bright ideas! Thanks :). Please ignore the mess of temporary cushions!

Comments (15)Hi. I think I'd go for a pale but warm greige on the ŵall. If you look at how you've laid the pics on the rug and ŵall, the antique white frames aren't really standing out and yet they do against the carpet. Dulux just walnut may be an option but they have a couple of similar shades perhaps with a touch more beige in which may also work. The vanilla isn't too dissimilar from what you have already and as you have it in the lounge a different colour may be a nice change? Definitely add a mirror over the cabinet and a plant or flowers in whatever form are always welcoming in a hall. Table lamps are also good , maybe see if you can find any battery operated ones if you don't have plug sockets there...See MoreLiving Room Advice
Comments (4)Hi Paul. I think they work as the colours are soft. I would swap the tartan and chevron cushion around though on the love seat and also add a solid colour cushion. Why not try both of the sofas at right angles to the fire with the loveseat opposite the fire so you can hang the tv above that. Pull the sofa away from the bay and put the console table behind it with a table lamp etc, If you're wanting to add colour I'd go for a shade of purple for a textured rug then maybe add a couple of yellow accessories which work reallywell with purple. Comments (11)Have you considered painting the brick a pale white/grey? I know that's not art work but your eye instantly goes to the brick rather than the kitchen and it would make it easier to bring contemporary art work in.
