Hello jodg, I see well that's not quite what I had in mind : ) ) ... perhaps consider the closet idea for your bedroom... Regarding the shower screen...possibly an overhead curtain rail as opposed to a glass screen... It negates the need for a wall to fix the glass sheet to.. Or and this one requires more plumbing.. move the loo... in order to leave a smaller bath at that end of the bathroom.. If not then you can enclose the stairs and then fix the shower screen to the "wall" and keep bath at that end and loo and sink at the other end.. possibly losing the storage element under the stairs, which isn't ideal for what you want but it's possible you could create both.. if not smaller storage... : ))

The trouble is that if you move the toilet to the right hand side and have it side on, there won't be enough room between it and the bath. You need to provide all the dimensions, so where the window is, and the height of it from the floor, the position and width of the door etc. The only way to not see the toilet as you walk in, would be to have it on the 'door' wall, and that probably is not possible due to the pipework needed. Do you want a bath ( i presume so for the kids ), There's not much room for a re-jig on the position of everything. As you see moving the loo isn't really going to work: Plus it changes the amount of room left for a basin and mirror plus the towel rad. Depending on the position of the window, we could explore putting the bath under the window, the toilet on the right etc ............but that would also be dependant on the position of the doorway, and / or if it can be moved at all.

Hello! Some of the suggestions are good. I would definitely tone down to more neutral/natural colours - particularly with a trend in bringing the outdoors in. Soft greens, sage, and playing with a light wood effect would all work really well. Calm down the shower curtain to something a little lighter as the busier and darker it is the more it separates off that side of the room. I would suggest something white with light line patterns if you can. Re-tiling should be done professionally. We've been called in so many times to fix a bad tiling job and it can be costly when done wrong. You would need to properly remove items in the bathroom for sure. I've mocked up a quick moodboard below for you - the two grey samples on the right are from Amtico. I'd avoid something with an obvious square 'grout' kind of line, as you already have squares all over the wall :) If you're local to Surrey or SouthWest London and we can help, let us know! - Adam

It’s normal for new homes builders to do this. It’s so that you can mop the tiled floor and not worry about water getting under the skirting and causing damage. If it’s the silicone around the door architrave that you have a particular problem with you could cut this out- but beware you might then see a cut edge of the tile which could look worse.
