Hi Chris, That's a quick fix! Click on Your Houzz (top right corner) and then 'Edit Profile' - a button on your cover photo. You'll see a page that says 'Account Information', scroll down this page until you see a section called 'Photos' (and underneath it 'Directory Photos'). Upload a photo that you have already uploaded to your profile and click the green 'Update' button. Hope this helps!

Hope I'm not a dinosaur, but one of the things I liked about the old set up was the serendipity of finding a gem hidden in a topic I wouldn't have looked up. Now, if I am directed to look at topics that are specifically of interest, I may well miss out on the lovely nuggets I have so enjoyed. I loved the informality of the jumble of questions, and the feeling that a group of friends was putting forward ideas and advice. On the whole, I'm sorry to lose that charm of feeling part of a community of like -minded individuals for a more clinical and professional set up. I'm also a little alarmed that the site may be becoming an on line shop with a bit of editorial thrown in. All that being said, I still look forward to great articles on a variety of topics, and follow with interest my favourite contributors.

Hi Katie, here are some ideas for creating a lounge feel for your home while maintaining open spaces. Aside from adding area rugs to spaces you want defined, adding tables and matching lamps, thematic décor and colour throughout also helps. A lounge feel can be affected by art, lighting, so dimmable lights are highly recommended. Also, providing arranging seating areas around art can make a huge difference in creating a cozy space with lots of textures from furniture and cushions. We've had a section of our garden landscaped - staggered over several years as couldn't afford to do it all at once! The bit left over is currently a wasteland where the kids dig and was originally going to be lawn, but I've enjoyed gardening so much since we started that I'd rather put it to better use. There's also a really high drop where the wall is as we levelled a slope to get it flat, which really needs a low hedge or something along it for safety. It's a bit of a strange shape and established last year that veg growing in a triangular bed didn't work brilliantly! Does anyone have any inspired ideas for how to lay out this section with some low beds or sections divided by paths. I'd ideally try and plant some fruit bushes and would, have some veg and cut flower beds and maybe something to add a bit of height somewhere too. Excuse my rough drawing. Any advice much appreciated :-)
