What is missing???
Comments (41)Forzaitalia thanks. Got a fuzzy feeling from that comment. Where are the emoticons, they were needed here! Houzz Team????? Yes I have an appointment with Hilary's for blinds for the window. StJamesdesign, hmmmm wooden floor, I might consider that. I'm scared what will become of the cream carpet but then I'll leave til it's grubby and if I have to change it, wooden floor is the first option. Ash thanks for that runner and dish idea. I will definitely add that ;)...See MoreWhat am I missing on my window sill

Comments (5)Hi, I don't think your units and worktop are all that bad, although they do not live to the mainstream style and trends of kitchen, and so you probably don't view it as nice. Your kitchen is flooded with plentiful of natural light. I think the main issue lies with the sharp contrast between the dark floor and light walls which needs to be softened using a different colour- a warm grey, muted green or a taupe grey Cum brown colour. You could then accessories using a colour of your choice, maybe lime green and yellows or oranges and reds. A patterned rug, some herb plants, a vase of flowers, a wall clock (you could make a feature of it), maybe some blinds if you want added privacy- could all contribute to a homely, welcoming kitchen. It just requires a new lick of paint and you to inject some personality. I will try to link some examples. All the best...See Moredownstairs bathroom - what’s missing?
Comments (36)I think it looks very clean and fresh and to keep this look, a very simple update would be an artificial green plant and paint the ceiling and possibly the toilet wall a dark colour and then add the same dark colour handtowel. Change the mirror for a mirrored cabinet if there is room so you can ditch all those loo rolls. Alternatively, as someone else has suggested, a basket for loo rolls would be so much better. Do you have to have a waste bin in such a small space? Good luck...See Morebryan4974
