We're in a 60's built house which in some areas still has the original brickwork. The staining in the brickwork is pretty grim so we'd love some advice on how to deal with it. See the photos below - 'scuse the weeds! We're on a hill so the damp proof course has been set to the level of the other side of the house which I think has exposed this area further downhill. Would renewing the DPC on this side of the house prevent it? Any advice on how to get rid/minimise/prevent would be gratefully received.

Is that 2 towels rails in there as one is not labelled? If so Option B isn't good because of the intrusion of the towel rail by the door and the fact you'd have to walk around it to get to the vanity unit, but to be honest I'm not keen on Option A either because I'd want the towels rails close to the shower/bath and the vanity basin. I wouldn't want to walk over to the other side of the room with wet hands dripping all over the floor.

I bought it! Was playing around with it all day yesterday and you’re right - the best I tried so far, so went ahead and bought it. Their tutorials are very good also, I was able to use it right away without taking a whole course like you would need with AutoCAD. My first project on it (for a client). Really impressed with it!! I didn’t think I will be using 3D, but because it is building in 3D parallel to the 2D elevations and floor plans - I can use both. Can really justify £65 spent! Thank you for your advise! The first thing to say is that Architects can DESIGN your space! To quote the RIBA: "Architects are highly skilled and professionally trained to turn your aspirations into reality. They will guide you through the design, planning and construction process whether you are constructing a new building or adapting an existing property. Architects apply impartial and creative thinking to projects large and small. They add value, whether from maximising light and space, adding functionality, or achieving the best return on your investment." There is much more to a project than just obtaining the (albeit necessary) consents - more importantly the renovation should improve your life and lift the soul through good design! Something you don't (necessarily) get by just employing a builder.
