My kitchen is too boring!
Comments (32)One of the most comprehensive bar stool companies is Atlantic. They have a wide range with modern, contemporary and vintage styled ones. If you go with orange then the print you have bought could go in with the scheme. For wallpapers have a look at Romo or Harlequin they have some lovely designs. I do think the dining area could take a feature wall so do look at that, it will define that area. Once you have decided on a wallpaper the rest will follow....See MoreNeed help decorating grey and green family room
Comments (3)Why not try a moveable bookcase on wheels in white, to help screen the Childrens play area? This can then, depending on their ages be decorated as a kind of separate area with colourful storage boxes, playmats etc in White / Green and another funky colour for fun. You could even put two back to back, one side kids, one side adults!...See MoreHelp - boring floorpan
Comments (2)If you need a kitchen plan, then one of the concept planners on here may be able to help you. You do need to post the dimensions though. What are the two rooms off the kitchen diner? If you need a bathroom, then likewise you need the dimensions of the room and also to post where the soil stack is and position / size of doors and windows....See MoreIs it worth removing this kitchen island?
Comments (8)Looks like I'm following Atelier Saara Karvonen around dilemmas, but I promise I'm not :-) Just happen to be browsing for interesting dilemmas at the same time. Anyway, I think it might be doable. You could use the end drawer unit from the peninsula as an addition to the wall cabinets if you remove the odd corner cabinet. But what's the worktop made of? Can't see if there's a straight seam at the end of the row of units where the corner cabinet begins? If so, you migt be able to remove the corner piece and reuse the rounded piece thats on top of the drawer unit. But that would have to be cut straight and to size. You will also need to know whether the floor goes under the cabinets, otherwise you'll be left with a gap in the flooring. Or it might be discoloured. You need about 100 cm around an island, so first measure whether an island would be possible and what kind of island you would like to/could get. Think about how much the peninsula bothers you and if you can live with it until renovating the kitchen. I'm not sure whether it's worth the upheaval. Also, if you get an island and you are going to change the kitchen in the future, will the island work with the new cabinets and layout?...See More- 8 years ago
