To be fair, that's a pretty impressive render (wish I could do it that well..;) ) and great for seeing how the room will look space wise etc. You've had a few great suggestions already above but a couple of things I would point out: Incorporate a shelf or other handy storage item next to the bath so that you have somewhere to put bottles etc within arms reach. Perhaps an interesting freestanding piece to add some character? I would also suggest a tiled area around the bath - even if it was just up to window cill level it would help keep the room looking smart. Splashes on paint or wallpaper just mark so easily. It's looking good so far, just a couple of tweaks with the colours you prefer and it will be great.

Very nice, clean, and fresh! Perhaps the colour can come in with accessories, plants, etc. :) Sometimes committing to a colour can be too much for a client - especially if they're very conscious of future selling potential. However, if you have painted walls, these give the perfect opportunity to play with colour and then bring this in with your accessories when you dress the room :) Good luck! - Adam

When we had our family bathroom redone, we agonised for a long time about having a bath and shower or just a shower in there. We thought that although we only have a shower in the master en-suite. as one of the guest bedrooms has a bath in the en-suite, we would only have a shower in the family bathroom as it more suited the way we live and we were doing the bathrooms for US and not someone who may buy it in the future. We concluded as long as there was a bath somewhere, this was enough for any future resale. Incidentally, as there is only 2 of us (and the cats) now I use the master en-suite as "my" bathroom and the OH uses the family bathroom as "his". He did get the better deal though, because we still have yet to re-do the master en-suite, so it's really crappy.

We live in an Edwardian house with a separate loo (original layout), which we kept separate during renovation as I'd really rather keep the toilet water away from toothbrushes and also so that people can use loo while someone in the shower. Having lived in the US for a number of years, with toilets in a separate little room within a larger bathroom, it didn't seem so strange any more either. We did add a small sink in with the loo as there was none originally. Another side benefit is that the shower room (we took out the bath and put in a bath-sized shower) could be laid out more effecitvely with double sinks (another US-inspired decision) along the wall which separates the shower-room from the loo-room - if we'd opened the space up we wouldn't have been able to get two sinks in and it would have felt more cramped.
