To match or not to match?
Comments (12)Hello MsJacqueline, Do love the emerald green with gold accent!.. So why not choose something that picks up on the warm gold with a yellow colour wall? It would also bring out the flooring... maybe move the rug to another location so more of the floor is visible for a lighter feel to the room.. The emerald green colour is amazing and will be fantastic with a mustard type yellow such as Yellow Pink by Little Greene. It would also work with the other sofa which is a really lovely contrast to the vibrant colours- I do like the tiles on the fireplace and hearth... Introduce a creamy white on the other walls like portland stone pale (LG) and add some gold accents.. :))...See MoreLooking for an affordable red 2 or 21/2 seater sofa.
Comments (8)I would have thought vintage furniture would be a good bet since it was made smaller than most furniture now and is often more affordable. If you're set on red then I would consider scouring ebay in the hope you get lucky or buying a nice vintage two seater and getting it re-upholstered. For new options I think these are nice as they're available in lots of colourways and have a mid century feel with the wooden legs: https://www.swooneditions.com/tivoli-made-to-order-mid-century-two-seater-sofa#!3909 https://www.swooneditions.com/berlin-two-seater-sofa#!10585...See MoreSofa bed and matching large modular/split sofa
Comments (4)Lounge doorway is 81cm wide with door on, and would be 82cm if could take off. Very old fittings that seem to have been painted over many times so getting door off may be an issue. Doorway height is 196cm Hallway width is 77.5cm and height wise no issue in hall - very high ceilings. The hallway width is probably the biggest problem. The only access to lounge is through this hallway door, and the width is only 77.5cm. The Next team were trying to twist it around but the sofa was just too big. They actually ended up accidentally putting a hole in my wall trying to do it!...See MoreDo bedside cabinets need to match?
