Table lamps to work with mix of lights?
Comments (10)Tee hee, I think of it an updated classic minus that shade!! Have you looked at India jane? Some of them are quite reasonable. I pretty much like all of them but may not be your thing. Is the lamp to go on a table near where the boys play? Could you swap other lamps if you want glass? Or would a desk style brass lamp work, maybe a more modern retake? Or again I'm not sure it's your thing but you could have a ginger jar base and get a shade to match....See MoreBedroom do-up required...

Comments (12)Hi. You know, I'm totally with Pat Oliver on this - cant imagine why someone would have put three light fittings up in the first place!!! I, too, would go for just the one in the centre and remove the end light fitments. Don't know your budget or taste but I've fallen in love with ANTHROPOLOGIE'S totally OTT brightly coloured chandeliers which happen to be on sale now. I covet them but can't afford them. Why not combine your budget for two and buy something spectacular. You're only going to do it once!!! Wayfair is good for ideas and, believe it or not, if you have a COSTCO card they sell quite magnificent ones too. If budget is huge look perhaps at Thomas Goode. Happy shopping! Comments (20)The shelf above your sofa is a key space to add some colour or some statement pieces that would bring your room to life. I assume you can see that shelf as you look down from the kitchen to the sitting room. Firstly, I would stand the books on the shelf vertically and have the plant pot by the side, this would give some more height. Have a look at our project boards for some art print ideas and you can find some bargain frames from ikea and most supermarkets, this will make that shelf space look really special. Bringing a colourful print will highlight your black and white picture that you have already. Little changes and you will make your space look amazing!...See More- 8 years ago
