Hi, I have just finished repainting my kitchen myself. Overall I am happy with the new look, but I think the final verdict is only possible after some time (to see if the paint hardens enough). I have used Ammonite Farrow and Ball which is very warm grey colour. It looks nice in dark corners as well. Had to apply 4 coats of paint after 3 coats of FB primer. So be aware of the quantities. I must say that the process of repainting was not an easy ride. I spent overall three weeks (full time weekends and doing some smaller works in the evenings). Preparation is the hardest part (sanding, sanding and sanding), while painting is also a vey delicate process). If you are not afraid of hard work do it yourself! Otherwise, a professional is always a good option. Check traditionalpainter.com website they have a number of good instructions on repainting the cabinets.

Sorry somehow doesn't sound right at all, if I would be the tiler I would have told you previously to fit the mosaic there are problems with it...not after; still belive he could have done a better job. sometimes tillers work with 'funny' products, in that case there are little adjustment they should make ...if they have a bit of experience and desire, if you know what I mean. Ask him what he would have done in his own house, would it be accepting the job as it is now? he probably say he would have never choosen such a mosaic design... than you can ask him why he let you fit such thing,....he'll soon realize he made a mistake and should rectified it. good luck!

Hello, considering installing these floor tiles in our new kitchen: https://bit.ly/2TYNSkG The sample I’ve received looks good but always hard to know how it would look in the final project. We like the concrete ‘look’ but I would really like to hear people’s experiences of using such tiles or similar: Does it ever look tacky/ aka.....it’s ‘mock concrete/wood/porcelain’ etc How has the quality fared: this would be a high traffic area for us so what have people’s experiences been/would you need to install special underlay, etc The price seems too good to be true so I’m dubious/very keen to hear from people who have used! Thanks in advance :)

@Carolina@Sonia I like that too! Goodness now I'll have to make a decison ;) I think as suggested the best way to start is to get some floor samples first, problem is shops are all shut. Should have started this a few weeks back!
