Hi. Personally I like the look, maybe not for everyone but it can give a feeling of space. I'm in the middle of painting literally everything in mine the same colour and now I've found the first pic it will actually look quite similar in style and colour! What style and colour of kitchen are you having? Are you having a splashback? if so what colour etc as it can break up the space ( I have tiles which will be coming off although I don't mind the ones in the 2nd pic). My kitchen is very old hence makeover no.2 on a very small budget but there are so many paint colours other than white you could choose if you weren't sure about painting everything the same

Little Greene Bassoon is a lovely colour. A dirty warm yellow, more complex than bright yellow but still strong enough to make an impact. Or, Slaked LIme by Little Greene is a lovely grey that can read as warm.

Both are good. Haven’t done it personally but have heard good comments on both ways. The spraying that l have heard off means they mask off all of the kitchen area and spray in situ. Hand painted means there will be no big masking off the area as there will be no overspray. l would be tempted to go for the spraying especially at the difference in price. Perhaps ask to see some of their work before committing.

Well if you don't want to replace the flooring, or you can't find matching flooring, I think your only option would be a rug.
