Comments (5)What a lovely big, sunny patch! I'd plant vegetables! Artichokes, potatoes, peas, all have pretty flowers, and you can eat them! Roses are edible too, as are the fruit (hips). :)...See MoreHELP AND IDEAS! Two bed ground floor flat side return/extension
Comments (4)Hi Saskia, Depending on your budget & site conditions you could build a very small light weight extention to serve as main entrance lobby. This will create a separate entrance without shrinking the existing reception. Regarding the glass to the other bedroom it all makes sense. Your utility cupboard could stay against the wall, flush with your new kitchen, which would move where the small bedroom is (I assume this is your plan for now). We've designed something very similar not long ago, please see link below. The project is currently under construction and will be finished at the end of June. https://www.houzz.co.uk/hznb/projects/victorian-house-rear-and-loft-extension-pj-vj~6159497 We would be happy to assist further with the design, please don't hesitate to contact us. Comments (9)Lots of potential and your garden is so pretty. I would fill it with a mixture of good topsoil and compost. What plants you choose does depends on the aspect - is it sunny or shady in that spot? You could put a smallish evergreen shrub in the middle then surround it with gorgeous perennial flowers In a tier. if it’s sunny, I would plant an evergreen Cistus (white or pink flowers) then surround it with Crocosmia, Hemerocallis, Globe Thistles and then the final layer at the front all round with Geranium Rozanne, Campanula, Nepeta or Lavender Or Aubretia. These are just suggestions but as long as the plants you buy are the right height and like sun you should be fine. if it’s a shady spot you could try Skimmia an evergreen, then add some Ferns, Bergenia, Anemones. Or maybe an obilisk with a Clematis climbing through it? SKIMMIA CISTUS 2 CLEMATIS...See MoreIdeas on how to reconfigure 2 bed 1000sq ft flat to 3 bed
Comments (9)We did a similar conversion and I am sooooo glad that we did the kitchen/living at the back leading out to the garden. For that floor size I would try and do a master bed with ensuite, a small single and a double. Not sure how to configure ha but having a master with ensuite at the front would be nice, make a feature of that bay window?...See More- 8 years ago
