Comments (13)Hi Adrian, thanks for the details - love the Caraz! Absolutely on trend colour, and a nice calm, sophisticated palette. Always amazes me just how much influence ambient light has, as the pictures show both to be even warmer in reality. With that info, I think I'd still be opting for white/off-white close to your worktop colour - on, if suitable, using the worktop material as a splashback, but you'd need to check with the manufacturer on suitability close to gas flame. Not all would be permissible. An alternative would be to go with whatever you have picked as flooring tile, if available in large enough size, then cut & edge to suit. Comments (3)I would avoid a hardwood floor in the kitchen area. Any grease spilled on it would be slippery. Have you looked at LVT instead? When you say mocha cabinets is that the carcass colour and also the fascia colour? Comments (13)Only my opinion of course but on my screen the backsplash looks grey with a tiny line of brown and the floor tile looks yellowy and l’m not too keen on the combo. Add to that your options for the laminate are ‘mushroom’ colours and I just don’t think either of them go. Your inspo photo strikes me as being ‘top heavy’ with the darker cupboards on the top.
