lovely area with matching view i see.. in stead of the spider you could use a Jielde loft lamp like this one hanging from the ceiling. i think it's nice to have some statement chairs around a table

I got these recently from Matalan! Only £20 and personally I love the shape https://www.matalan.co.uk/product/detail/s2668224_c000/tear-drop-shaped-pendant-1-25m-x-0-33cm-x-0-25m-white I like the idea of having a hook to centre it above the table. Another option could be to have an arc floor lamp potentially. I think additional lamps on the other side of the room would probably be good regardless, for overall lighting
