Hi - I've taken your dimensions and drawn up your room with an 6 seater dinning table scaled to the dimensions from IKEA. So you can fit a dinning table but it could be a little bit tight from the wall to the chairs. You could get a masking tape and measure out the dimensions on the floor to get an idea.
If you have two tables - one used day to day as a desk /craft space/homework table at one end of the room and the other as a dinning table - this will help the room feel wider - then on high days and holidays you can combine both tables together for one extra long table for all the family to sit at once !
