Totally agree with VLS Curtain Makers Ltd. Whether you choose curtains or blinds to dress a window they should be what you like and want, suit the property and your lifestyle. I have clients with pets who would rather have a blind so that the fabric doesn't get covered in dog hair, whereas other clients prefer to have curtains trailing across the floor simply because they like the look and it suits how they live and the style of the property as well as their other furnishings.

I can fit the blinds myself (i did it before, easy!). Would you be able to provide the blind bigger than the rail, then? And would you consider providing the system that Victoria is proposing? That system looks ideal to me, because being slim-line, the gap between the window size and the panels at the side would be much smaller. Is there any email I can contact you at? Thanks so much Annika for sending me the pictures, it looks great. I'm definitely going to suggest this to the new curtain-maker. Quick question - do you know if I would need more length if I used this heading (I have a pencil pleat heading at the moment)? Reason for me asking is that I am wondering if I really need a border or if the heading could be changed using the existing material (and then I would have to keep the track where it is now). The curtain style gives a subtle difference but is one that can still elevate a room! A wave pleat is a good modern option as it creates a boutique style with uniform pleats using a wave track system. A sail pleat is also a popular option as it uses less fabric and has a simple heading, but is still very elegant. A pinch or double/triple pleat gives a bit more of a classic look.
