I like the sideboard, colours, plant and furn but there is something wrong in the second photo that does not work. My eye focuses on the old fireplace and it is bare. Perhaps lowering the pictures would help or putting a fireplace back in or moving the table.

The last picture in a lattice pattern, if you turn that 90 degrees it will replicate the pattern on the sideboard and draw the eye along the wall. Just an Idea but the room looks very modern and chic.

I love the white furniture with the grey walls and then that bit of gold. Good choice with wall gallery too! I am thinking the side board could use a small mirror above it (positioned a bit lower than the top of your wall gallery but also high enough to go above the top of the lamp, just a bit). I love these sun burst/spiky mirrors just for that kind of space. If you add a bit more gold with a mirror, you could put your small gold pot on the dining table and then incorporate a gold plant stand or two (image also below). Just an idea to keep it modern looking but adding a bit more warmth. Cool space and hope you have fun with it! Carrie xx

I think if you find a spiked mirror that is more spike and less mirror then it definitely won't look like too many mirrors. Plus, mirrors are such a great way to fill up wall space without spending a ton of money. Just make sure it's not reflecting something unattractive right at eye level (like a messy closet or bathroom door). Good luck. xx
