Need help with above island extractor problem.
Comments (2)Ah, the joys of fitting extractors around beams etc! As suggested, I'd consider looking at alternative extractors (BEST/Elica/Luxair) to see if any might work better with your layout. Alternatively, dropping the ceiling above the entirety of the island could be made into an attractive feature. flat ducting may also help, but be aware there may be a reduction in efficiency of the unit. Hope you find a suitable solution! J Caldicot Kitchens...See MoreExtension Natural Lighting Problem
Comments (19)Love to see some pics of the rear of the house. Was just wondering what type of roof you are going for? Also wondering, whether as well as having skylights, roof windows or a roof lantern, the latter of which would look particularly nice on a listed building or one in a conservation area, that maybe a light tunnel could be installed to go directly in to the library. roof lantern:- Sky or Light tunnel:- Sun tunnels can go in roof spaces, but I have also seen them at source from an outside wall, going through the joist spaces in the ceiling above and coming out in the middle of the ceilings as above....See MoreLight fitting problem
Comments (0)I bought three pendant light sets and had them fitted in the bedrooms but have since found out that my lamp shades don’t fit! The pendant dimensions are shown below. I assume the lampshades have standard fittings as I’ve never had problems using them before. They have three prongs into a central circle (think it’s called a spider fitting). But the central circle is too small to fit over the bottom of the pendant. Is there a way to adapt the lampshades to fit? The only things I’ve found are to make the central ring smaller rather than bigger. Thanks for your help!...See Morelighting problem
Comments (9)What style is your room? and does the bar sit in line with the table ie the bottom section running across the table - or does it cut across it width ways? If it were me - I would use the cable lights and wrap them around the bar and hang pendants off them to make a feature. But then we have a semi industrial style so we wouldn't mind the bar. You can still do the same thing though but have less industrial shades on of course. It just depends where the bar sits over the table. Picture of the room and table would help.....See MoreTani H-S
