Help! What colour/colours to paint the house and windows??
Comments (10)Thanks Jonathan. I’m not totally adverse to the yellow and perhaps your right less yellowish window might help crisp up. I like the warmth statement and blending with greenery that current colour has but it needs painting badly and so having moved in last year feel need to make a change and loose yellow. I suppose as it is tired and everything in the house is either yellow or green (avocado) and tired!!! I’ll look at greys with off white windows as you suggest.........See Morewhat colour should I paint walls to get the versace gold copper colour

But, if you have a room which feels dim, you may find you can afford to use a slightly more colourful pink than you might think, in order to show-up through the gloom. From top to bottom here the pinks become increasingly more colourful. It is possible to find a suitable pink to use in most every room : the secret is partnering the right amount of colourfulness to work with your available light....See MoreWhat kind of curtains & what colour(s) suits this living room?
Comments (3)I would class those cushions as more of a rust as opposed to orange. Could you swap them for a definite bright orange and also have curtains that have a large proportion of orange in? Walnut has undertones of orange so l think it would work well together....See More- 7 years ago
