I think you house is very handsome but it’s not clear what you are trying to achieve.
If you are just looking to paint windows then consider painting them crisp which for a sharper look.
If you are looking at painting the render I would choose either a grey that compliments the roof and keep the windows off white.
Alternatively you could go crisp white with the render and a contemporary neutral for the windows such a taupe

Thanks Jonathan. I’m not totally adverse to the yellow and perhaps your right less yellowish window might help crisp up. I like the warmth statement and blending with greenery that current colour has but it needs painting badly and so having moved in last year feel need to make a change and loose yellow. I suppose as it is tired and everything in the house is either yellow or green (avocado) and tired!!!

I’ll look at greys with off white windows as you suggest......

Do you mind me asking what area in the country you live in? I have found that in some areas you can have a bit of fun with the colour and yet be in keeping with the local surroundings.

Suffolk

Is Suffolk not a case in point in that many of the homes there have vibrant colours rather than the safe greys and whites?

I suppose that it depends where about in Suffolk you live, but I think that a cheerful colour for a rural house is always an option worth considering.
