Comments (0)I bought three pendant light sets and had them fitted in the bedrooms but have since found out that my lamp shades don’t fit! The pendant dimensions are shown below. I assume the lampshades have standard fittings as I’ve never had problems using them before. They have three prongs into a central circle (think it’s called a spider fitting). But the central circle is too small to fit over the bottom of the pendant. Is there a way to adapt the lampshades to fit? The only things I’ve found are to make the central ring smaller rather than bigger. Thanks for your help!...See MoreIndoor lighting problem - very low natural light
Comments (5)Hi Laurence, have you considered using recessed lighting uplights to shine up the wall. The reflected light will illuminate the whole room. I would suggest using high power LED Strip like our Samsung Strip, it is 1000 Lumens per Metre and draws just 8.2w of power. If you need it even brighter we have the 2000/m Lumen version. The effect uplighting will create will be less industrial looking than Corn Lamps. Feel free to call us if you would like to discuss further. 01624 819130 / 03333 222 008 Regards, Trevor www.litewave.co.uk...See MoreNeed help in this space low ceiling light problem
Comments (7)Is it already built? Looks like a 3D render? If not already built then yes I would put some ceiling spotlights in. It looks like you have a narrow strip of flat ceiling (80cm)? if so I would put the spots there. Perhaps angleable spots on a track rather than recessed downlights as that gives you more options for where you point the lights. Then you will also want some lights in the low corners, I would put in plug sockets (perhaps 5amp ones wired to the light circuit) so you can have lamps in the low corners You might also want a wall light or two above the breakfast bar If it is already built it’s a very different kettle of fish and will depend on what is easiest to get wiring to. Might be the ceiling if you can access from the floor above, or the walls if not....See More- 7 years ago
