Lighting dilemma, two ceiling heights over kitchen island
Comments (1)Perhaps move the island to the left, so the distance between island and tall units on the left side is about 100 cm and then put something like this over it? You could possibly do that too without moving the island:...See MoreLighting dilemma
Comments (3)Hi Green & Mustard Interiors, Taking what you have said into consideration, I believe that we may be able to offer some lighting options that could help you with your dilemma. I just have a few of questions that would help me to offer the best options for you. Firstly, what size are you looking for? Also, do you have any styles in mind that you like or that you have seen? Lastly, what colour are you wanting? Maybe do you have any photos of the area for reference? We offer a wide range of chandeliers at different price points, and so if that is the route you choose to go down, then here are some options. Many are also adjustable so fit lower ceilings. Comments (1)Hi Angelique, In interior design we treat each room differently in terms of their look and feel. Whilst you can create flow from one to another by no means does everything have to match! In fact we try not to make everything match-matchy when designing as it can look too curated and unconsidered. What you could do, is create a style which has similarities and has little nods to one another. You could go for similar lighting in your empty areas as the kitchen and dining but don't have to be identical. e.g. 3 or 4 different styles of industrial lighting. Hope that helps Rukmini Patel Interior Design...See MoreHallway lighting dilemma
