Comments (31)I would recommend white painted walls. Add accessories that are colorful if you wish. You can change it anytime you want. Depending on the space, I would definitely add something like raw thick tree branch. You can then make some fairy doors on it in color. Interaction with a child making these doors :) I would also choose funky prints of animals over the decals. Or have some animal heads hung on the walls. Children loves cozy spaces canopy is the thin. I would recommend Numero 74. I love their range of colors and quality. Add some cool pillows. If you are into diy, make some. Paint on it, embroider, use different techniques to apply color and texture to the room. Have more than one lighting source: fairylights, floor lamp, etc. If you want something really cool: cover ceiling in polka dots. Don't paint it. You can cut out some cardpaper circles and stick it with blutack. Use different sizes one color rather than having different colors. Take it off when tired of it easily. Enjoy decorating the room :) V...See MoreGarden makeover design ideas

Comments (12)I think painting the walls grey as suggested will help immensely with bringing the tiles into the scheme. The suite apart from the sink looks alright though, I would change the sink to a more modern shape and then you could include storage underneath. I had to replace a sink in my bathroom but I matched the dimensions of the original and there was no damage or repair work needed. An alternative sink could be rectangular in shape and this could cover any gaps in tiling etc. Left by your existing sink. Duravit do a good quality cheap one. I would change the window though as it is unattractive but I guess that might be a longer term job!...See MoreWhat to do with Victorian house galley kitchen? Ideas please.
Comments (2)Idea: Keep the downstairs toilet/utility, but have the chimney removed and move the door to the middle of the wall. I've placed the cellar door in the dining, so the full kitchen wall can be used....See More- 7 years ago
