Please help w/ bathroom makeover!
Comments (11)I have dealt with many small bathrooms, and I know storage is a problem, but your best bet is to have nothing more than a pedestal vanity. You don't want to spend hundreds on a new piece that takes over the space. I would recommend Pinterest for some ideas on creative storage ideas for a small bathroom. You will live with this for a while, so take your time making a decision....See MoreTiny bathroom makeover
Comments (11)Hi Kathryn, You have a fantastic room to work with! I completely agree with poollover, that corner by the shower enclosure can really be utilised with a wet room screen. It will give you a lot more freedom and make the room look larger overall, Try using wall hung vanity units, this will reveal more floor space, again, opening up your bathroom. As you mentioned, the light in a bathroom is incredibly important! Just as poollover mentioned, using a mirror combined with an extra boost of lighting will look wonderful. If you want some advice to get started with your wet room, we have a blog post that simplifies the process here Unishower have a brilliant range of wet rooms, designed for small spaces. Try the hinged wet room screens or even 3-sided shower enclosures! The enclosures are not quite wet rooms, they're walk ins and again are perfect for smaller spaces - see here! We also providefull wet room kits which means you don't have to do as much shopping around! Take a look as they have a better better flow than other wet room trays and don't require under-boarding. www.unishower.co.uk Looking forward to hearing from you! I have a budget of around £1,000 for this room as in the very near future we will split the second bedroom to make a smaller bedroom and separate bathroom and put this bathroom back to bedroom 3. The carpets curtains and wallpaper are definitely going. The wall at the side of the loo looks bad but it’s just peeling paper. The walls may need skimming but this can be done along with the lounge. The house is at present is a 2 bed 110 year old semi detached cottage style property so although I’m young (20) I don’t want anything too modern....See MoreBathroom flooring - Victorian style tiles, but cheap!
