Tired Bathroom Given Magnificent Contemporary Makeover
Comments (0)This old and unloved bathroom would not have been out of place at your Grandma's old age home. Opun came in and utterly transformed the bathroom space creating a sleek and modern aesthetic that adds some real panache to the bathroom. The stunning contrast between grey plasterwork and bold white metro tiles is one of several eye-catching features which also include majestic polished oak flooring and a Victorian fitted toilet. Low hanging industrial pendant lighting is the perfect final touch. Before work began After, a stunning new space The incredible contrast between the grey plasterwork and fresh white metro tiles perfectly compliments the stunning oak flooring. These exposed lightbulbs and metro tiles make sure that our customer’s new bathroom definitely leaves a lasting impression....See MoreFamily Bathroom makeover
Comments (8)Morning Paulouise! I'm one of the designers here at Bathroom Eleven, in Surrey. White is definitely a way to bring lightness to a room, however, do always bear in mind the practicality of things like a white floor... it shows up a lot of towel fibers and dirt! A few things I would bear in mind when creating a brief with a client for this kind of bathroom is: - feature walls; a great way to create a sense of depth, particularly with that back wall of the bath/shower area - Keeping textures simple and not overcrowding. A usual error made when wanting to implement more storage is placing something wherever it will fit. Inevitably, this will make the room feel smaller as it will make the walls feel closer and create shadows on the floor giving the illusion of losing floor space - Lighting! Lighting is key! Feature lighting to eradicate shadows is a great way to make floor space feel bigger. - Wall hung Units and WC - keeping things off the floor will give the illusion of a bigger footprint to the room - Mirrors. If you can afford the space to have a nice big mirror on the other wall, that would help to give the room extra width, too. I hope these tips help! Happy to chat more if you want to drop us a message, or if you're local to Surrey, pop down to our showroom and design studio :) Thanks! - Adam...See MoreBefore & After: A Dark and Drab Bathroom Gets A Drastic Makeover
Comments (1)What an improvement. My pet hate is floor to ceiling tiling in a bathroom, and you've ripped it all out! Well done. Your design is simple yet very stylish....See MoreHelp! Quick Bathroom Makeover
Comments (6)I’d go for an art deco look. Navy blue, gold, bronze, cream, warm grey and pink. -Change the bath panel. Wood panelling painted dark blue. - Gold/grey/cream marble effect vinyl wrap over the top of the toilet/sink unit. - Paint sides of unit and doors in dark blue. switch out the handles to something modern in gold/bronze/rose gold. - Paint over the border tiles with a bronze/coppery tile paint - Change the bin. If it won’t break the bank, I’d switch out the taps and showerhead to go with the theme....See MoreJuliet Docherty
