It's a very nice lamp ..(Return ) But feel you need more hight on that table...

Will a drum shade suit this lamp base or would I be better sticking to this shape of shade? If I stick with this, could I use a drum shape on a standard lamp nearby or should I match the shape of the shades?

Hi, I've found this lamp for £153.75 at Houseology, but if that's still stretching your limit, perhaps you need to think about what it is about the lamp that you like? Antique brass is going to be expensive, but if you're happy to opt for a different material, you will be able to find cheaper alternatives. Also, don't forget that you can buy the lampshade separately from the lamp itself, so if it's the square lampshade that you like, you could buy this separately, and put it on a more "normal" lamp base.

Hi, it’s too small to be a floor lamp, “normally” you’d have a floor shade with a diameter of 45cm upwards but in any case given the shade should be wider than the base, i think you’d be hard pushed to find a base! I’m not sure if the proportions of the tripod base are a little out as ”normally” the base is taller than the shade height? It just looks a little off but hard to tell with table size and legs! Do you have other photos of the room at all? What shape is the new table?
