Yes, usually my accent wall is wall papered, first time in a long time not papered as I do like patterns and shapes. I am starting bedroom project tomorrow, think I am decided on the colour of the walls, and the brass look, just hundred things running through my mind on how to tie it in all together now, so concentrating on what to do with the curtains and bedspread. I usually go for bedding that is striking and vivid, as I love a good bed (I did say don't take notice of my bedroom at the moment, it is thrown together and looks awful) curtains always scare me on what to do there, so I usually just go for one colour. But please, any ideas, are greatly wanted and appreciated. So when you say a purple drape, are you saying on for the curtains? I really want to try and experiment there, but, as said, they always scare me lol

Hi, You can buy fairly firm upholstery foam, in a large enough piece for the bottom to rest on the bed. You might also want to cover it. If that's not firm enough then Kingspan (or similar) insulating foam definitely would be. Wrap it in something airtight so you don't breathe in the dust from it. I've got insulating foam wrapped in PVC wipe-clean tablecloth fabric for a footrest right now.

Yes you’re right about that Love your home bed, the wings are deeper than our wardrobes (which are half recessed) so if we had little shelf bedsides they’d be really hard to reach, we‘d have to sit up and reach around the wings. If I’m honest I don’t think we can face doing anything too complicated like false wall or moving the sockets to allow for the full width headboard! New lights.... maybe... husband is predictably Not Keen. So, I think that boils it down to the naturalmat Prideaux bed, in linen 😁 with the bigger headboard size if they will do that. I’m up for painting that section of wall though - we could either use the mid grey green shown on the door, or a much darker grey green (the mid is Blanket and the dark is Squid Ink, both Paint & Paper library). If we use the mid paint then the bed colour would be dark and vice versa. Linen curtains - need to look at all my samples in the room later on today! Not heard of vinterior, I will have a browse. 😁 Yes I hope the cat is real!

I would go with three or five, beautiful restful colours. I would also align the tables and lamps to the centre of each panel. Would that mean getting a bigger bed? I recently downsized from super king to king and now can’t wait for an excuse to go back to super king. Chandelier looks fabulous!
