How tall is the credenza and does the back look good? (or make it look good)

I mean: Would placing it sideways between the pillars be an option? I'd like the table to be centred in front of the windows.

You could maybe use curtains to try and centre the table so they'd be fuller on the left? Excuse the awful photoshop but it's just to give an idea

I haven’t bought the credenza yet. Or any wall paper or any window coverings :)

So with the windows, I’m hoping to keep whatever goes in the dining area symmetrical with the play area as when you look from the sitting room you can see both clearly and I feel it will look best if the symmetry is kept. I was thinking of Roman blinds. Perhaps wooden shutters. I won’t be able to play with the the weight of curtains on one side or the other because of the fixed toy storage on the opposite side preventing curtains from hanging neatly and also the drawers from opening (they go right up to the wall).

What size is the rug and the table? And what width is the window wall (inside the pillar)?

How much floorspace is left when you centre the rug with the windows?

Window wall is 12’ to the inside of the pillar (to the edge of the flooring is another 8 inches).
The rug is and inch and a half over 11’ x 8’
The wall that is perpendicular to the windows is just under 12’

The table is 9ft as pictured.

But the rug is no square, is it?

No the rug is rectangle

I guess the 11' is the length? What's the width?
