Great work so far. I love the colour of the blue on the wall, the painting, and the chest of drawers. Are any of these pictures appealing? I'm thinking a bit of yellow would be nice to add or you can just add varying shades and textures of neutrals in the bedding, throws, and curtains or blinds. I've also included a couple with bronze as previously suggested.

I'm on a tight budget too. I went for a second hand chandelier bought for (relative) buttons off Shpock (one of those selling apps you can put on your phone). I also got four LED ceiling spotlights. Two in front of the coojercand two in front of the sink. The electrician still has to install a dimmer unit for the chandelier. This will give me task and mood lighting which as I will be eating in the new kitchen (it's in the old dining room), I thought would be fun. Photo below. The house is a work in progress btw! Cost wise I got it as part of a rewire so can't say exactly but I reckon about £200 for labour for all the lights, plus the cost of the chandelier.
