Our loft company came up with this design. Despite being aluminium, the frames take up a lot of the nice view. Cost £2250. Suggested making the central panel twice as wide and the two side windows smaller (narrower and less long). My friend has Corian in her kitchen as a seamless worktop, sink and splash back. She also has it up and over the window sill. It looks great but it does scratch easily and it does leave watermarks. She had been talked into it by the kitchen company which she now regrets. It wasn’t cheap. I think granite is incredibly hardwearing if your budget stretches to it. Quartz is very popular too.
