Hi Jen. They may be ok you know. I thought I may have some of my sons hair stuff to clean off which is normally flicked around the bathroom but I don't. However the woven seat is made up of strands like a braided shoe lace but firmer if you see what I mean. Not the most hygienic way of cleaning but I think any food would just pick off with a fingernail or something more appropriate :) The seat is also really firm, I thought there may be an issue if kids don't sit on their bums but I think it would be ok

My deck is 4.1 x 2.5m and I found it was too narrow for a table and chairs so we placed them on paving further up the garden. It’s fine if not in use. I know yours will be a little bit bigger, but I found that when people were seated no one could leave the table without climbing over another person, if you get what I mean! Go with your instinct and go larger 😊 This is where the table ended up.

I really want to find the source of these table and chairs. Any help and hints would be greatly appreciated.

How about banquet seating on one side? I think you could have curved banquet then 2 chairs. Would use less space than 4 chairs.
