My gosh, a fantastic job - I might have to try this

Hello All, hope you're having a lovely Saturday - just saw Wales win their first Euro 16 match; very happy, now waiting for England. Quick update: cut the grass on a high setting following advice and did some weeding. Decided to jet wash the patio but found that my garden hose had holes in it. Had to dash, in the rain, to Poundstretcher to get a new one. I've never used a jet wash power and had a little taster. See below. Tomorrow, I hope to wash the patio properly but it's hard work. Tommy Turtle's looking a lot better and you can the slabs that I've done so far. Think I need to sweep first as the moss was flying everywhere! A little comparison, of what can be. When I was living at home we had no washing machine and Mum did everything for me. Probably because I was young and thoughtless it didn't occur to me to do my own washing and ironing. That changed when I said my blouse wasn't ironed how I liked it, so Mum said do it yourself then. That was my first big wake up call and I'm quite ashamed of how I was back then. Probably because my only child was a boy I did his laundry till he left home at 18, he did nothing, no cooking DIY or anything, but he has turned into a very practical man who can do anything, a lot like his mother! Washing back then was a chore, mostly done by hand, but kids today opening the door of a washing machine and stuffing clothes in is no big deal, and no one seems to iron anything any more. Children need to learn to cook, that is most important thing parents can teach their kids.

" Please consider writing to the UK officials and letting them know about your concerns regarding the use of FRs in the UK furniture in order to meet ineffective furniture flammability standards. The UK Office for Product Safety and Standards is holding a consultation on its proposed approach to the fire safety of domestic upholstered furniture and furnishings. The deadline is October 24.
