Has anyone bought a nice corner sofa bed that they would recommend?

Hi,
I used to work for a company called sofas and stuff. They had a really nice corner sofa with a sofa bed. I’ve just popped on their site but I can’t find it. Definitely worth a call as they don’t have all of their sofas online. You can also have it upholstered in any fabric you wish.

I think I would move the bathroom into the bedroom- by making the corridor by the front door longer you can access it from the hall rather than through the bedroom. Put the kitchen in the reception room as this has fewer windows and therefore more wall space for units. Although this will need to also be a corridor through to the lounge I think you would also be able to fit a dining table in there. Have the back part of the flat as a reception room with either a sofa bed or a pull down bed for guests. At a later date this layout also lends itself to extension when budget allows. I would try to build on the side- I think there is room for a second bedroom where the shed is.

I like Sonia’s idea for an obelisk and a climber. The winter flowering jasmine might be nice and give you some winter colour ( p.s. I’m no good at remembering the Latin names:)). Alternatively I thought some flowering spikes might look interesting with the natural looking mix, so something like perennial foxgloves, verbascum, acanthus (think there’s an evergreen variety of this), penstemon etc. For spring flowering you also look at Aquilegia, some of the vulgaris varieties can grow quite tall (up to 1m). They do have a tendency to self seed everywhere tho but easily controlled and very pretty when in flower. I think an evergreen of some sort would look good and anchor the rest of the planting, something that’s easily controlled such as osmanthus holly olive, yew, or the upright euonymus, all slow growing and won’t be fussed about being clipped.

You could split up the sitting room into two rooms (would probably mean boarding up the fireplace). Or you (the parents) could have the middle bedroom - the French have done quite a good job with all those mirrors. The bedroom by the kitchen could then become a snug/TV room, and you'd only have to accommodate a dining table in the existing kitchen.
