Colour ideas for accessories and soft furnishings. Please help
Comments (7)Hi Loula, I would probably start with a geometric rug in grey and white. A shape mirroring that of the chair detailing. This will also still be crisp and contemporary like the rest of the space. Cushions in white will help tie the colours throughout the space rather than just having blocks of it. A large piece of art of work in the same colours on the wall behind the dining table would really work.. maybe a peaceful seascape to add a bit of tranquillity to an area for relaxing. Finish with a few accessories on the table and beside the TV to help bridge the gaps. Grey is a great contemporary colour that will work well with the scheme you have started. You now just need a few more layers to really bring it to life. At the end, as Liz suggested, you could add a single punch of a great colour to add a little warmth - my suggestions would be burnt orange or a deep rich purple. We offer single room design and/or great sourcing packages if you need help further help. Feel free to drop me a message and we can go through it in more detail. Otherwise, I hope this helps and I look forward to seeing the final room! All the best, Gina...See MorePatio wall - ideas needed please.
Comments (17)Carolina, I'm not sure our building regs people really knew about the rules for horizontal wires either but in the end they said they could be climbed like a ladder and wouldn't permit them. Annoying when I've seen photos of them used in lots of places, including commercial buildings & bordering much higher drops than we needed....See MoreFeature wall ideas please

Comments (7)Thank you for taking the time to post everyone, there are some great ideas here! I do love a brick wall, although what makes this ‘ugly’ is the fact that the previous owners came onto our property to paint it (their choice). They cut in with a shade of cream then put their house up for sale without finishing the painting so now it’s been left patchy with lots of wires, pipes and central heating vents poking out of it. The new owners are not interested in doing anything to it but have said we can ‘do what we like with it’. The wall is actually the full side of their house which is a large - so the idea of painting it is one we hoped to avoid - although I really like the grey painted brick image (I’m not sure the ‘do what you like’ would extend to this) - it’s worth a shot to ask though! Greenery and lighting are definitely the way forward! I had thought of greenery (you’ll see the bamboo poking out the top of the hot tub, although a bit small) and outdoor mirrors to reflect light. Thanks again all...See More- 6 years agolast modified: 6 years ago
