External Cladding

hi.

i am looking for recommendations for black cladding to go on a garage. there seems to be a million different products - from wood to composite but i am looking for real life recommendations from people who have it. i would prefer something low maintenance and would like a solid black colour - oh and also it needs to be pretty inexpensive too ! :) thanks in advance xx

Would love to see any photos of the New England style cladding, we have a 1960's house that we are updating and are considering both render and cladding. We are making the top windows deeper and are trying to decide whether to use white or grey aluminium/pvc frames. We have had grey (covered in tape in pic) bifold doors installed but can have these powder coated in white if it is better to stick to white windows. Thank you!

We are building a large extension on our house and will be rendering it white but can't decide on a) whether to cladding the top half (agate grey) and if so what colour windows to have. our windows are too big for sash windows and we have been put off Georgian windows from a number of windows companies due to light. our issue is that as the house isn't built, we cant take photos and see what it looks like. we need to choose soon. our options are light grey cladding and white windows, no render and agate windows.. or maybe agate cladding and windows. any advice welcomed

We had external wooden cladding removed from between ground and first floor in our uk 60s build and this is what was revealed. It's now been clad back over in hardie plank but I wanted to know if people knew what the plastic was protecting and what would have been directly behind it e.g. ends of the floor boards (or would they sit above), a beam, brick or something else? Thanks for your help
