Hi, I wondered if I could ask for some plumbing advice. A plumber recently installed a Nest controller into my uncles property. The boiler is only a few years old but the rads are probably from the 90's. The hot water is scheduled on the Nest but is not working properly so we are still having to keep the immersion heater switch on which is not ideal, We are also having issues with the heating still, some rads are stone cold whilst others are boiling hot, some are hot in one part of the rad and cold in another section. All rads have been checked and bled etc. The plumber seems to be frustrated as he's visited a few times now and not keen to come back but we need to sort this out for my elderly uncle. I'm wondering what the issue could be and if we need a nest specialist which the plumber is not. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks and have a good afternoon.
