Not sure if you're wanting to keep it white but if so some ideas for inspiration. It's hard to suggest artwork for someone else but a gallery wall might be nice or trying oversize wall clocks, chalk boards etc.

I feel it needs a bit of breathing space between mirror and mantle. Maybe 10 - 15 cm. You can maybe prop something under it to raise it a bit and see how that looks. Be careful you don't break it. Would not centre it between ceiling and mantle, because then it starts to "float" and will lose the connection with the fireplace, I think

Sorry, I should have explained a little bit more. These are old units that I am simply moving. They are in very good condition. I have no problem with abandoning or not using some of the units. @ Jonathan that looks good. My intention is to get a 2400mm island as well. However, need to get these in first! @ Ellie I will do so when I have a chance a little later on! Thank you. The diagram I put up first shows the area where the units will go along with the window at the top. @rinq the larders are very tall. From memory they are approx 2.1m high. They both have openings of 1050mm for appliances. I havnt enquired about additional units but I'd much rather make the best out of what I have.

Hi AB, looking at the pic, I'd say you need a tonne more storage to start off with. This will contain the mess and give you more space. I'm a messy person and though I'd love to be neat and tidy, for me it's more realistic to accept that I am inclined to make a mess, but to have somewhere to shut it all away, giving the illusion of minimal calm. It looks like you have enough space to double the size of your wardrobe. Having just installed IKEA pax wardrobes in my room I'm a big fan. You can customise the storage in them, and include laundry bags, a vanity unit and even bookshelves and charging points/a hair dryer, as well as clothes and shoe storage. It also looks like you study/work in your bedroom, so I'd set up a desk area that includes storage. If you get a new desk with integral storage you can start thinking about design, and gets something that fits with the look of your other furniture, to create a harmonious, atmosphere. If possible, I'd upgrade your desktop pc and monitor to a laptop, which will eliminate the wires. These days there's not much the right laptop can't do. More pics of the whole room would be helpful to advise on flooring, curtains and bedding.
