First that is a very lovely DIY kitchen and second to add more warmth it might be worth considering the lighting being used-from the photos it seems to look like a white light which may be making the space feel cold so you could look for some lamps and lights with a warmer glow to them. Lovely kitchen. I think you have warmth already from the floor and dining table. It can be difficult to marry a cool grey with a warm wall colour. Is the wall pink at the moment?

Very nice! I would try Strong White on the panelling and the stone wall - and this could continue on the kitchen walls if you want to stick with light walls. Purbeck Stone on the kitchen walls could pick up the lovely natural stone elements and would definitely bring warmth. Another idea to consider would be painting the beams in Railings.

Thank you all so so much for such lovely compliments and ideas. Yes I agree the lighting in the photo does look very white, it’s actually all warm light bulbs so I think it’s just because it’s a photograph. We have since removed the pendant lights in the kitchen area and replaced with aged brass spot lights with a warm white bulb. The panelled wall is natural calico from dulux - all we could get last lockdown where we live. It’s a lovely colour however when I tried it on the plastered wall in the kitchen area it looked awful. I am seriously considering strong white though after having a google it looks lovely! I love your ideas Brett - thank you! We’ve just painted the beams in an off white to lighten up the room a little.
