I need help with Window designs and an exterior colour scheme
Comments (28)I really think you should consider timber. All WWA members have their windows tested against air and water leakage, so there won't be any problems there. They come factory-finished in any RAL colour and can be repainted (outside or inside) whenever you want. And the frames will last twice as long as plastic. I would replicate its original windows, which are beautiful. It's a handsome house - keep its value by keeping its authentic character....See MoreHelp needed for a new colour scheme in our lounge.
Comments (2)Hi, what a lovely space. Have you enough budget to change the banister style? They're really busy and detract from your gorgeous ceilng. Glass panels might be good. Also, what's the floor like under the carpet? If it's decent timber could you keep it? A waxed or varnished finish could bounce some light around the room. Have you got a sofa etc? What colour is the upholstery? And of course you need to think about the colours you like! Personally I couldn't stand living with peach or terracotta colours on my walls, and I don't like pale blues either, so that limits my schemes! I think your room is big enough to have a rich colour on the end wall but you may want to go for a neutral scheme... Good luck!...See Moredon’t like new kitchen - please help with colour schemes!!

Comments (10)Hello! Wow! Thank you very much for your advice. So, there is a radiator on the right hand wall. That is where current owners put their tv. Not sure it will fit, will measure up soon hopefully. The TV could go on a smaller unit to be honest, and will make sure radiator is turned down! Just worried that there isn't enough room for a corner sofa there with the door to the hallway..(see photos on rightmove) I LOVE the idea of large mirrors either side of fireplace. Pinching that! ;) My current living room is decorated in shades of greys and lots of gold. Thinking of going navy and gold but not too sure. Sofa colours argh! Huge thanks I'm very grateful.
