I have to say they picked nice colours and would like to mention that a living space always looks better with a few ornaments or accessories, cushions, wall art, etc. You can see this on the two last images I listed. Hello John! :) October Squash painted on the back wall as a feature wall would look gorgeous and brighten up the room, making it really warm and inviting! I like your plants, too. Perhaps even buy some more plants and make it a themed room? I also really like the furniture. If you do want to lighten it slightly consider having a piece of glass cut for the top. Choose a colour that works or mirror and make sure it is safety glass too.

I love the white furniture with the grey walls and then that bit of gold. Good choice with wall gallery too! I am thinking the side board could use a small mirror above it (positioned a bit lower than the top of your wall gallery but also high enough to go above the top of the lamp, just a bit). I love these sun burst/spiky mirrors just for that kind of space. If you add a bit more gold with a mirror, you could put your small gold pot on the dining table and then incorporate a gold plant stand or two (image also below). Just an idea to keep it modern looking but adding a bit more warmth. Cool space and hope you have fun with it! Carrie xx
