Best wallpaper paste.

Hi all, i found out many years ago that the best wallpaper paste for anaglypta paper was cold water lap paste. It really is so much better than solvite for this paper. However it seems now to be near impossible to buy.
I wonder if someone with knowledge would mind telling me what they would use in its absence. Many thanks Paul.

I'd recommend this https://www.toolstation.com/wallrock-fibreliner-power-adhesive/p61235 which I've used with Wallrock lining paper.

It looks great, I'm glad you and your daughter are so pleased and she has lots of room for friends over, playing etc. It can also be easily and cheaply adapted as she grows if she wants. My only criticism (if you can call it that) is that if not already your daughter may soon also want the desk to double up as a dressing table and therefore I think a mirror was a good idea but the memo board (which looks great) can always be moved as and when needed. (I thought i'd posted a comment on that previously but obviously not!). I might also add a desk light there for working during winter months. So which room next?!

As they're pink I probably wouldn't choose any of these for a guest room personally. I would however go for the pineapples or the honey bees in charcoal though :)

I would box in the pipework as that is going to be very difficult to paper around. I would also get yourself a proper scalpel from an art shop as these are best for cutting paper in situ - it will also be easier if you have paper where you can paste the wall rather than the paper. One issue you will have is around the edge of the fireplace as its such an irregular shape you will really struggle to get a clean edge. I would be inclined to agree with others who have said you will get a better finish if painted - if the wall was painted I would also polish the copper pipes to a high sheen if you don't plan to box them in, its an easy job and looks great when done.
