Help choosing colour of kitchen units?!
Comments (9)Yes, I have a sample and I did take it to Ikea. But it all just looked weird, as ikea is all artificial lighting! No natural light. I'm thinking of going back with sample and taking a door outside so check. I think white units will not match the cream :( I will post a photo of the silestone tomorrow, see what you think! Thanks :)...See MoreNeed help - new kitchen without wall units
Comments (3)I;d get a lighting specialist on the case. It seems a shame to go to the expense of having ceilings lowered, when high ceilings are such a great period feature. They also allow for some of the amazing pendants, which others can't have due to the lack of height. If lighting is an issue for you, i'd solve that before embarking on the expense of lowering the ceilings and explore all options available for different areas first....See MoreTwo colour kitchen - which units which colour.
Comments (6)Hello, We would agree with the other comments above. There is no rule that you must abide by but generally speaking if you are to have a two toned kitchen, lighter colours for wall cabinets and the darker colour would be used on the base units, as for the tall cabinet this is very much a 50/50 decision.
