It’s personal preference. For me I don’t like one colour on the base and a different one on the walls, but that’s just me. I don’t however mind the same colour on base and wall units but a different colour on the island.

I quite like that green on the island.

Thanks Daisy - Having it the same on wall and units will make it 'blend in' and as it's a kitchen / diner / sitting room this might be good.

I was going to go dark blue on units but now thinking more subtle - hence the green!

Seconding the Kitchen Lady's suggestion of green - a nice warm darkish green would look great IMO. Don't forget to degrease carefully, if you painting them yourself!

Edit: not sure what paint you have there, but the F&B Bancha or Duck Green look as if they would go well.

Can't believe I'm struggling with this so much - just can't visualise it done! It's been unfinished for so long.. and now it's the final push & the time consuming one!!

Do you think this green, which is F&B Treton, is too bland (wishy/washy) for the whole kitchen?

It's such a fresh green, its not too bold so won't overwhelm the room. This means that it will merge down and your ornaments and personality can shine

I love the green and I would do it on all the units. Such a lovely colour.
