Need help choosing range colour, wall colour and tiles in kitchen
Comments (27)Update - alabaster painted oak units, oak worktop, (curved end units and worktop corners) belfast sink, 1100 stainless steel rangemaster porcelain large high gloss ivory 600x600 floor tiles, ivory grout - please see attached look book just still to decide on shade of sage on walls - deciding between F&B Mizzle, Vert De Terre, Ball Green and Cooking Apple Green... Also metro sub/way tiles on walls - whether to go for a sage tile or cream/white... The dining room area off the kitchen will have oak parquet floor which will follow through from hall and will also be in the lounge but Im thinking of following the wall colour in the kitchen through to the dining room for continuity and potentially painting the chimney brest or wall furthest away from and facing the kitchen a darker green complementary colour... Thoughts please...See MoreKitchen unit colour dilemma- please help.
Comments (8)The room looks very modern and spacious and having 2 colours in a kitchen is very popular. With regards to wall units (see image below where shelves have been used) & fridge/freezers, it really is down to personal preference but American fridge/freezers are very bulky, but they do give a lot of fridge space, although the freezers do tend to be a little small. Shelving can look nice and it could keep costs down. Decisions, decisions :-) Here are some pics of shaker kitchens that our customers have sent us with 2 different colours that they have used in their kitchens. If you want to see more pics then they can be seen here....See Morekitchen units colours help!!
Comments (30)Hi there, we have just had our kitchen finished in navy blue (RAL2004) we found the 2011 too light. We used Silestone calatatta gold worktops, full height splash back and island worktop, we painted all the walls in Little Greene Tusk, which brings warmth to the walls. Maybe look at a darker oak flooring, as this will add a lot of warmth to the room, we went with an antique oak (I normally absolutely hate dark/antique oak but for me, the floor makes our kitchen)....See MoreColours to go with grey kitchen unit+ ceilijg lighting help
