Help with colours please

This is my holiday home and I would like to refresh it, I will not be replacing furniture or fittings so I’m a bit limited on colours. I tried this blue but I’m not sure about it, I wanted to use oval room blue by F&B but budget will not allow.. I would prefer not to have plain neutrals if possible. Does anyone have any ideas?

If it’s just painting you are planning to do and are concerned about the cost of the F&B paint then go elsewhere and have the colour copied. This is what I do. I use and prefer Johnstones paint and they do an excellent F&B colour match. It’s spot on.

I love Oval Room Blue and have it in my kitchen, but I don’t think it will sit well with your kitchen units and your green tiles. I would stay with an off white neutral for the kitchen end. For the living room end you could go green on the end wall and I think something like Lichen may go, but get a test pot to ensure it will go with the green pattern on your sofa. As Daisy says, you could get any F&B colour matched at Johnson’s. By the way I really like the heather plum colour you already have.

Its funny but I am liking the darker shades more and more. Always used to go for pastels but my tastes are evolving! The matchcards in your earlier pic, on the table, seem to be much lighter than the later pic with the fabric, not sure why. The middle colour, Paradise Found, seems to match the flower in the fabric very well so it would work. But I must be honest I love the two greeny blues more. They are very similar to Inchyra Blue by F&B. Would you go all over? I think with white shutters and white woodwork it would look stunning. Here’s a pic of Inchyra Blue so you can see how similar it is, but a little darker?

and yes i do mean the cleeves house you have posted but i think collours a bit too greysih and light we are thinking to darker internal doors to contrast with the floor or i have also seen a photo where the floor and skirting and doors are all light grey and a warm white on the walls and panelling? really confused!!! is there anyway of visualising the room to check how colours will look guys

How's about picking up the cord colour on your pendant light for something a bit different n a pop of personality?! Or a different shade of Green say the Studio Green, deep and luxurious or a slightly different tone say Green Smoke? Failing that how's about Drop Cloth, very regency I would say.
