Comments (1)I guess it depends on the height of your bedside tables and really what you think looks good. There are so many types of light, ones that you can pull round and angle etc, there's no right or wrong. Some even get fitted to the headboard. So, I think it would depend on the light and what looks right....See Morehelp! bed position in weird shaped room
Comments (20)I have the same problem. Proud owner of a black Lab that sheds hair constantly. He tries his best to sleep on the bed till we kick him off. I’m inclined to agree with Math and have patterned bedding and plain walls but then I saw this pic and thought of you:) I think the wallpaper is from cole and son. Or maybe work the colours the opposite way round so pattern on the wall and deep colour on the bedding like an emerald green or rich teal then have some white floaty voiles at the window to counteract the strong colours. On a plus note I got a cheap synthetic silky fur throw from Primark that is brilliant with dog hair, shake it and it just glides off....See Morewhere to position recessed LED's in kitchen, ideas please?
Comments (4)If you read over a breakfast bar (sorry, no time to look properly) then you may want to be able to switch the light above that on and off separately to save lighting the whole place. Ensure that recessed lights are spaced according to the ceiling you have after you've put wall cupboards in place (tall ones flush to the ceiling also saves cleaning and you can use a slim stepladder to reach stores etc in the upper shelves) and ensure that lights are central above work surfaces so you aren't working in your own shadow. My electrician refused to believe this would be the case and we had to install a second row of lights to correct his error. I hope this helps. (You'll clock that my lights were not put in well!)...See More- 3 years ago
