Hello I was just wondering if there are any sources to use that show what colours work well as a combination. I need to paint my bedrooms, hallway and living area and I have chosen some colours, but for the living room hallway I wanted to use two different colours for different walls (for the hallway the landing wall will be different to the side walls). Is there a source online that can advise what colour combos go well? Also for the ceiling for all the rooms, is white usually always the best colour to go with? For smaller rooms, is there any specific colours that are best? I have chosen denim drift for the small bedroom so far and tranquil dawn for the large bedroom. These are dulux colours. I was advised by a friend to buy even better quality thick paint from johnstons as the thicker paint will make any uneven parts of the wall less obvious. Is there a way to colour match dulux colours with other brands that do thicker paint?

It will depend on what else you have in the room. What colour are the sofas, tables, curtains etc?
