Headboard accessories!

I am desperate to find a standout colour to go with this headboard for cushions etc, and throw, and possibly chair in bedroom.
The lamps on either side are in plain white as are the shades but would like some colour on the bed. Any help would be appreciated. The fabric is Pierre Frey Petit Parc Gris (F2569004)

You already have a light green on the walls so why not pick out the dark sage in the fabric? There also appears to be blue on the bird which you could pick up a little of

Bedroom chair in charcoal. Lovely headboard fabric but difficult to have any bedding other than plain white or off white but a nice ginger colour (to match main colour of headboard) throw across the bottom of the bed would look good.

Hi there. It is difficult when trying to work with your current furniture in a new colour scheme. However there are options:- 1) if you don't need it to be a bright room and if the red is not a pillar box red then a taupe (beige) might work with the red colour and the cream accessories will contrast then. 2) keep to cream walls and up cycle your accessories, ie Add some cheaper darker curtains/swags around your window (thinking organza type romantic fabric) in a sheer red. Easy to paint your picture frames up or hang them with red ribbons to make them stand out more. Or bring in say gold as spraying frames in metallic paint is super easy and cheaper than buying new ones.

I would add metallics to the room in some form- see your wall paper source photo eg mirror, lamps, central pendant, - the wall paper needs this to bring out its beauty. Not sure if headboard is new, but large upholstered headboard could look nice (See Misha M picture 1). Also bedside lockers - either dark (Lacquer black?) or light but make sure they are not the same shade as wall paper or carpet. I would also add plain bed covers - I think it will work better with the wall paper.

Given that the photo is taken quite close to the bed I assume the room isn't large so a bold wallpaper could well overwhelm the space and take away the calm feel you have achieved. I like the lamps and agree with what Molly20100 says. I'm interested that most people like the headboard - my first reaction to the picture was that if the h/b colour was more related to the curtains it would tie the scheme together but that is probably the most difficult thing to change and as KK1000 says it is a spare room. A general point about cushions on beds - where do you put them in a small room when you want to sleep, I've experienced this in a very small spare room ( of course they filled the only space, the floor)

Go for the teal! it's gorgeous and will look stunning with your pillows. It wouldn't go with the footstool and other accessories would have to be less bold than the headboard but can have hints of the teal. I think use your pillows as your colour pallette and pick accessories using those colours. good luck Emily x

I would use white sheets & duvet & cushions & throw in the blue/grey colours that are the colours of the headboard. You also want to keep the bedding pretty neutral so as to not detract from the focal point of the room - the amazing headboard. Hope this helps.
